The Day Program is designed specifically to help children with autism and other developmental disabilities work on social skills, communication skills, life skills and teaches replacement skills to help reduce unwanted behaviors. The Day Program uses behavior techniques and positive reinforcement to achieve these goals. The program does not receive state or federal funding and relies heavily on private donations, grants and fundraising events, such as the AuSome Evening.
