Celebrate Earth Day with your art museum! On April 22, Plains Art Museum in Fargo will host the annual Recycling the Clay Community Day. During this family program, participants will use recycled clay from our youth and family programs to create up to two ceramic projects. Artists will lead demonstrations on making different types of ceramic works of art. Get your hands dirty, explore your creativity, and leave the mess in the Museum’s Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity.
Participants can sign up for one of two sessions offered at 10am and 2pm. Registration is now open and information is available by calling (701) 551-6100 or visiting http://plainsart.org/learn/familyandcommunityprograms/. In order to ensure a high quality program, an inexpensive registration fee of $8 per participant is charged.
