The West Fargo Area Community Program would like to invite the public to the “Seniors 60+ Extravaganza” 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in West Fargo. This free event will feature four expert speakers, an information fair, musical entertainment and a light breakfast, lunch and snacks.
The speakers lined up for this event will cover a diverse range of topics. The morning presenter is Tonya Hetzler, an investigator with the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Division of the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office. Hetzler will provide information on scams targeting senior citizens. Motivational speakers Ann Dolence, Teresa Lewis and Denise Peterson will present on positive aspects of aging, improving personal confidence and choosing to live differently in elderhood.
The event will also feature 15 informational booths from a variety of organization, including the Alzheimer’s Association, Valley TRIAD, West Fargo Fire Department and Home Instead Senior Care. Music will be provided by Clark Goebel and Reverend Peter Schmidt and Vicki Schmidt.
The event is free of charge, but pre-registration is required by April 20, 2017, to obtain an accurate count for the food. To register, please call 701.433.5360.
