The Bethany Auxiliary will hold its 22nd Annual Carnival to benefit the residents of Bethany Retirement Living on Thursday, June 27. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will take place at Bethany Retirement Living, 201 University Drive South, Fargo. The event is open to the public. The Carnival offers a full menu of traditional carnival food items like hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream, barbecues and tacos-in-a-bag. A wide variety of games will be available for kids of all ages, along with a dunking booth and a chance to put your friends in jail. Inflatable games will also be part of the Carnival with three of their most popular inflatable attractions. There is no admission but game and food tickets will be available at the gate. The Carnival is a fundraiser that enables the Auxiliary to purchase items and services that directly affect the quality of life for residents of Bethany Retirement Living. In the past, the Auxiliary has funded such things as blanket warmers, aviaries, gaming systems, soft serve ice cream machines, music and movies, hymnals, and electric lift chairs. Supplementary funding for the Bethany Carnival is provided by the members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
