Tuesday, June 5 | 7:30 to 9 a.m.
Courtyard by Marriott Fargo-Moorhead, 1080 28th Avenue South, Moorhead.
When business owners and employers hear the words “child care,” they most often think of the care, safety and education of young children. What we often don’t think about immediately is the impact that child care has on our entire community, and especially our workforce. Access to high-quality and affordable child care is vital in the success and economic development of our business community.
The UNITED for Childcare Coalition, led by United Way of Cass-Clay, is working to create understanding and awareness of how access to quality child care directly impacts our local economy, and why and how we can take action as a community.
Join us to hear from these collaborating industry leaders who will share research, current child care data and information on how strategic initiatives to improve access to quality child care elevates and helps businesses and employers meet their workforce demands today and in the future: Thomas Hill and Kristi Huber, United Way of Cass Clay; Pam Palmer, Bright & Early North Dakota; Erin Prochnow, YWCA Cass Clay; and Lorrie Thoemke, YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties.
