Do you know what really ignites your soul?

Research shows this is a crucial question to answer. Individuals who are living in alignment with their guiding principles are more likely to feel fulfilled and achieve the loftiest of goals. Yet, less than 20% of leaders report having a strong sense of their own individual purpose.

When we identify what really drives us, we regain the fuel needed to tackle the demands of our daily lives that can so often leave us deflated, overwhelmed and uninspired. But with today’s scheduling demands, where do we begin and how do we make the time?

This session will take you on a mini journey of self-discovery. Bethany Berkeley, performance consultant for Dale Carnegie, and Chelsea Monda, team lead of client consulting from Sundog, will provide resources to identify your true north and tools to begin leading with intention in all aspects of your life.

Note: This is part 1 of a 2-part series. Come back October 18 for part 2 “Living Your Most Authentic Life: It Means Taking Risks” to hear from a panel of community risk-takers on confronting self-doubt to put your purpose to action. You don’t need to attend both sessions – but we hope you do!

About the Presenters
Bethany Berkeley is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations thrive by uncovering and maximizing their natural talents, passions, and purpose. After 5 years of raising funds and building capacity for nonprofits in development roles, she is now the Performance Consultant at Dale Carnegie of ND and MN where she collaborates with businesses to drive productivity and revenue through innovative leadership development and employee engagement practices. Bethany serves on several Boards of Directors, including CCRI (Creative Care for Reaching Independence), Hope Blooms, and the Great North Pole. She is a member of the FMWF (Fargo Moorhead West Fargo) Business Training Committee and is a frequent speaker on empowerment, leadership, and goal achievement. Bethany has shared her message on multiple platforms ranging from the commencement speaker at the University of Texas, the United Way of Cass Clay’s campaign kick-off event, and the FMWF Chamber’s Women Connect series and Chamber Leadership program.

Chelsea Monda is a senior client consultant at Sundog. She is originally from Fargo and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis in advertising and public relations from Minnesota State University Moorhead. As a client consultant, she is an advocate for Sundog’s clients, guiding them through the process of developing a strategic solution that impacts their business challenges, resulting in a positive return on investment and overall business success. Monda is passionate about women’s leadership and enjoys leading initiatives within her company and the community. She holds monthly Lean In Lunches for the women of Sundog, and is the co-creator of PUSH - an offshoot program of the Women Connect events that encourages women to form small groups to help them set and achieve their goals.

Monda is passionate about community service and participates in several local projects through her church. She is also a supporter of the United Way, participating in volunteer opportunities for the 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program, the School Supply Drive and annual fundraising. She resides in Fargo with her husband, Mike and their son, Layton (1 year). They enjoy the lake in the summer, Bison football in the fall, and home improvement projects in the winter and spring.

Please consider bringing art supplies (such as colored pencils, markers, coloring books, etc.) to donate to the ND Autism Center.
