From management and human resources to sales and admin, every role within an organization benefits from a great work culture. Is there a magic recipe for success? It starts with the desire to make a great place for employment. But the culture at every company is unique. Find out what elements are important and how to establish your own brand of great work culture at this training with Eric Newell, CEO and Briana Scearcy is the Chief People Officer, both at Stoneridge Software.

What will you learn?

  • What elements go into great work culture
  • How the definition of greatness and realistic offerings differs between organizations
  • How to manage remote teams and the importance of good meetings

Attendees will have the opportunity to view what has been successful at other companies, participate in an exercise to define what is important to them, and participate in a Q&A.

About the Speakers
Newell is the CEO and founder of Stoneridge Software, a Microsoft partner organization. In the four and half years since founding the company, he has led Stoneridge Software through explosive growth in team members, customers, services and product offerings.

With a combined passion for technology and business excellence, Newell has taken on many internal initiatives to grow in operational excellence as a professional services consulting firm. This pursuit has benefited in being able to pass on best practices to clients and has resulted in many awards, such as ChamberChoice Entrepreneur of the Year, Accounting Today’s Top 100 VARs, Bob Scott’s Insights Top 100 VARs and VAR Stars, SPI Research’s Best-of-the-Best Professional Consulting Firms and numerous Best Place to Work Awards. He is very proud that Stoneridge Software took home the gold in Minnesota Business Magazine’s Best Companies to Work For.

Prior to founding Stoneridge Software, Newell spent 13 years at Microsoft and Great Plains Software where he led the Premier Field Engineering practice for Dynamics AX across North America to growth rates of 50% each year during his time in the role. Throughout his time at Microsoft, Newell has led strong performing teams, first in Global Support Operations and most recently in customer facing Premier work. Newell is also a geek at heart, having completed his Microsoft Certified System Engineer in his early days at Microsoft and having architected a global Dynamics CRM implementation which has filled a key gap within the organization.

Newell is a frequent speaker on Microsoft Dynamics technology at Microsoft events and Dynamics User Group events.  He also enjoys speaking about the company’s scorecard and how that’s made a big difference in the operation of the company.

Scearcy is the Chief People Officer at Stoneridge Software. Joining the Stoneridge in December Briana leads the company's human resources, recruiting, readiness and team member advocacy initiatives. She was previously at Eide Bailly LLP in Fargo, ND where she spent more than three years as a recruiter and human resources advisor for the technology consulting and specialty services divisions. Prior to Eide Bailly, she worked in human resources roles for RDO Equipment Co., Concordia College, and SEI. Briana is a certified Predictive Index Analyst and LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter.
