Terry Bradshaw Speaks to Sold-Out Voices of Vision Event

Speaking to a crowd of more than 1,000 people, Terry Bradshaw offered a message of simplicity and joy at The Chamber’s fifth annual Voices of Vision event today.

“We’re always measured by how well we handle the bad things,” Bradshaw explained, talking about his early days as the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He noted several times that being in a huddle is like being in a place of business, and he had three principles for success in both realms.

“You want to be successful in business? Learn how to smile. We all have to work on caring about others,” Bradshaw said. “We have to spend quality time getting to know the people around us.

This is the largest crowd Voices of Vision has drawn, with more than 1,000 people watching Bradshaw’s address live and another 100 watching via live stream in an adjacent room. The event was also the largest ever hosted by the Ramada Plaza & Suites and Conference Center.

“We anticipated a huge response because of Terry Bradshaw’s fame and long-time popularity, and we are happy to have worked with the Ramada to accommodate so many people for the event,” said President and CEO Craig Whitney.

Voices of Vision is an annual event designed to bring nationally recognized thought leaders to the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo area. Other speakers included Oliver North, Bob Woodward, Joe Theismann and Jeb Bush.
