Fargo Moorhead, ND/MN (November 20, 2012) – The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber has joined the Small Business Saturday Coalition. Small Business Saturday, held each year between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, is November 24 this year.
Small Business Saturday is a national initiative that marks a day to support the local businesses that create jobs, boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country. Small Business Saturday is an event that drives shoppers to local, independently-owned merchants.
“The Chamber is proud to support Small Business Saturday,” said Chamber President/CEO Craig Whitney. “Small businesses make up the backbone of our economy and create jobs. In fact, more than 85 percent of our members are small businesses.”
Local business owners can register their businesses at www.shopsmall.com so customers can find them. Customers can also visit the site to learn what businesses are participating in Small Business Saturday.
