Rasmussen College recently announced the launch of its new Support+ services network designed to better meet the needs of incoming and current students in achieving their educational and career goals. Support+ is a comprehensive and customized suite of student services that helps students overcome any obstacles they might encounter while working toward degree completion. This support network helps students achieve their educational and career goals through a seamless admissions process, financial aid counseling, on-demand technical assistance, state-of-the art academic tutoring, career service advisors and an overall premier academic experience.
"Rasmussen College has always had a strong commitment to providing the necessary resources that will help ensure our student's success," said Tom Slagle, Rasmussen College CEO. "Support+ is the next evolution of that commitment. Our unique network of services is customized to meet the individual needs of each student so that they can better achieve their academic and career goals."
In addition to degree offerings, student support is noted as one of the most important factors considered during a college search. Rasmussen College is able to support the short and long-term challenges students face through each and every staff member. Support+ is available to all students at no additional cost and consists of a portfolio of support-driven services to better position students for academic and career success. Incoming students not yet enrolled at Rasmussen College will also have access to these services during their decision-making and enrollment process.
The Rasmussen College campus locations in Fargo and Moorhead are ready to tackle daily challenges students may have at their respective campuses. Students will be supported by an entire network of faculty and staff members who care about students and their success. The campuses are committed to driving the back-end administration, so students can focus and excel in their academic programs.
“Through this student support-driven educational model, the goal is to prepare our graduates to enter the North Dakota and Minnesota workforce with the in-field knowledge and confidence,” said Betty Largent, campus director at Rasmussen College’s Fargo and Moorhead campuses. “The Support+ model caters to each student and builds a unique net of academic rigor, one-on-one interfacing with the college support staff, and excellent career guidance.”
Founded in 1900 in St. Paul, Minnesota, Rasmussen College is a regionally-accredited, private college that offers over 60 market-relevant and career-focused degrees at the certificate, diploma, associate’s, and bachelor’s level both online and across its 22 campuses in the Midwest and Florida.
