Fargo Moorhead, ND/MN (January 12, 2011) - The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce will launch its Operation Thank You event on Tuesday, January 18 at 2 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead.
Operation Thank You is an annual event designed to reach out to all of the Chamber’s 1,950 plus members. More than 80 Chamber volunteers hand deliver packets filled with membership materials for the upcoming year. Packets include a 2011 Metro Profile and Member Directory as well as an overview of membership benefits and recognition of Operation Thank You sponsors.
“Operation Thank You is one way that the Chamber can personally thank our business members for their support and investment in the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo area,” says Mary Mertens, Membership Services and Retention Coordinator for the Chamber.
Chamber volunteers will pick up the packets on January 18 and deliver them throughout the week to member firms. The event gives volunteers a chance to network with area business leaders and learn more about organizations in the region.
“Involvement in the Chamber is a wonderful way to get your team involved in networking and learning about the community and the impressive people that work here,” says Jill Berg, Spherion Staffing, who has several staff members volunteer for the Chamber. “The Fargo Moorhead area has been so welcoming and supportive of my business throughout the years, it is only deserving that we celebrate and support other business start ups and growth via Chamber involvement.”
