Health Care Reform: Now That It’s Law
Tuesday, June 22; Holiday Inn of Fargo

Over the next decade, the impact of the law will be far-reaching.  Businesses large and small must know what specific rules or regulation will affect them.

The Fargo Moorhead Chamber of Commerce invites you to a breakfast to learn more about the new law and help you better understand its effect on your business.
1. What does this new legislation mean?
2. How will it impact you and your employees?
3. What are the key provisions to begin planning for?
4. When do different components of the law become effective?

Our keynote speaker and moderator is Ross Manson, health care consultant with Eide Bailly LLP.

Manson will help decipher why it is so important for business leaders to understand the new health care reform.  He’ll review how health care came to be a heavily-weighted component of our Gross Domestic Product and examine the projected impact on frontier-status hospitals in North Dakota, statewide economic effects on both sides of the river and new health insurance requirements imposed on business owners.  In addition, Manson will talk about the creation of health insurance exchanges.

Our panelists include:

Paul von Ebers
President and Chief Executive Officer
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota

Lisa Carlson
Chief Financial Officer
Sanford Health and MeritCare

Kevin Pitzer
Chief Operating Office
Innovis Health

Doug Loon
Vice President, Regional Affairs
